Benfield School is seeking to appoint a Teacher of Geography who can inspire students to achieve excellence and explore their ambitions in Geography. We’re looking for someone who will not only teach but also mentor students, helping them build a strong sense of community and leadership through global understanding and environmental stewardship.
You will work to foster a collaborative and supportive classroom environment that builds a strong sense of community among students, and connect classroom learning to the broader world. Planning trips or clubs that expand upon what is learned in the lesson to encourage wider connection to the Community of the North East.
We’re looking for someone who can inspire and influence and who:
- Can develop and deliver high-quality, innovative lessons in Geography, setting high standards that inspire students to achieve academic excellence.
- Will encourage curiosity and ambition by integrating current global issues, technology, and project-based learning, motivating students to explore the world with an
analytical and critical perspective. - Can mentor students in becoming thoughtful leaders who understand the complexities of global geography and are prepared to contribute positively to society.
