Oxclose Community Academy, part of Laidlaw Schools Trust, is seeking a passionate and creative Art Teacher to join our department.
As a Teacher of Art, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to students’ needs
- Assess and track student progress to drive achievement
- Support the academic and personal development of pupils
- Encourage positive behaviour and a love for learning
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching standards
We are looking for a passionate and committed educator who:
- Holds QTS and has a good subject knowledge of Art
- Is dedicated to raising attainment and fostering a love of Art
- Has excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Works well as part of a team to support the wider school community
This role is designed to be flexible: we welcome applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) as well as more experienced teachers. We are looking for someone who can inspire a love of Art and contribute to our high standards of teaching and learning. It is desirable if the postholder has knowledge and experience in Fine Art techniques.
