This wonderful achievement is the result of a continuous drive for improvement, where the whole school community strives to deliver the best quality of education and transform the lives of our pupils.

In January 2024, we are due to convert to academy status; together with seven schools in the Outer West of Newcastle, we will form ONE (Owl North East) Trust Academy. This is a fantastic opportunity to join this collaborative and forward-thinking group of schools as they aim to continue to improve the lives and educational outcomes of children across the Outer West. Please note that the person who is employed in this post will be part of the TUPE process (TUPE stands for the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations and its purpose is to protect employees if the business in which they are employed changes hands. Its effect is to move employees and any liabilities associated with them from the old employer to the new employer by operation of law) with the rest of the team who are employed by the school. Please also note that this post is subject to a six month probationary period.
This school is strongly committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful applicant will be required to obtain an Enhanced Certificate of Disclosure from the DBS and a range of other recruitment checks.
