On behalf of the Governors of Esh Winning Primary School we are seeking to appoint two hard working Teaching Assistants to support pupils across the school with varying special educational needs and disabilities. (SEND).
These posts are fixed term and commence as soon as possible.
These posts are linked to the funding of an individual pupil.
If successful please note: – if the pupils you are supporting leave Esh Winning Primary School to access provision elsewhere, the post will no longer be available and your contract will end.
The Teaching Assistants are required to work with individual children who are in need of additional support. Children have a range of needs including barriers to learning and social and emotional needs.
The successful candidates will:
- Have strong interpersonal skills and commitment to work in partnership with school staff, professionals and children.
- Be motivated, passionate and reflective about their work.
- Have the ability to think on their feet and use their own initiative.
- Have the ability to develop positive relationships with key members to provide appropriate support.
- Have a commitment to professional development and be willing to undertake any specific training.
- Deliver interventions identified in support plans.
- Contribute to the writing and reviewing of support plan outcomes.
Required Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 2 for Teaching Assistants or other equivalent or higher qualification linked to education and/or childcare
- English and Maths qualification at GCSE or equivalent level
