SITE MANAGER / CARETAKER

Cedars High Heworth, part of Cedars Academy Trust, is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Site Manager to begin in Summer 2025.

• Have the skills to carry out general repairs and maintenance tasks throughout the school.

You will be responsible for:

• Maintaining clean, safe and secure school premises, which includes buildings and grounds
• Carrying out handyperson activities, routine maintenance and refurbishment, porterage, and minor repairs
• Promoting health and safety around the school
• All other aspects of caretaking, such as supervising external contractors, and site use
• Carry out and record regular health and safety checks, including on legionella risk, play equipment, safety equipment etc.
• Completing all required statutory paperwork

If successful you will be required to apply for an enhanced Disclosure check. This post will require a declaration under the Childcare Disqualification Regulations 2009.
