SEND Teaching Assistant (EYFS)

Cedars Low Fell, part of Cedars Academy Trust, is seeking enthusiastic, caring, and reliable Teaching Assistants to join our EYFS/KS1/KS2 setting. We have vacancies to start as soon as possible, as well as from September 2025.

We need dedicated individuals to support the learning and development of our young children. The role involves working closely with the class team to deliver an innovative and inclusive curriculum through practical, sensory, and therapeutic approaches.

Cedars Academy is a specialist provision for young people aged 3 to 19 years with physical, sensory and medical needs, speech, language and communication disorders, autism, and a wide range of other complex needs often associated with emotional vulnerability. The Academy operates over two sites in Gateshead, Cedars School at Ivy Lane, Low Fell (EYFS-KS3) and Cedars College at Walker Terrace (KS4/5). Our curriculum is highly individualised and focuses on the promotion of communication, emotional development, resilience, and the development of personal and social skills.
