Safeguarding Pastoral Leader – To start immediately
38 weeks Term Time + 15 days
37 hours per week NJC Scale Point Range 30 – 32 Permanent Post
Pro-rata Salary – £33,113 – £34,936 (Full-Time Equivalent £36,298 – £38,296)
This ‘new’ post will support a ‘good’ School that has exceptional standards for safeguarding and excellent systems for pastoral support.
The successful candidate will be expected to act as the operational safeguarding lead, possessing knowledge of relevant Safeguarding and Child Protection procedures and legislation.
You will work closely with multi-agencies, school staff, children and families and serve as the single point of contact for PREVENT and e-safety.
The successful candidate should have experience of working in a similar role, ideally within an educational setting. It is essential that the successful candidate has excellent communication and organisational skills, works well both independently and as part of a team, is able to follow instructions and shows initiative.
