Required as soon as possible after 18 October 2024. Permanent Term time plus 5 days The Governing Board seek to appoint an enthusiastic and caring Positive Futures Worker to work with pupils and families to overcome barriers to learning and to provide appropriate pastoral support to meet individual needs. The successful candidate will work inside and outside classrooms depending on the needs of the children. The successful candidate will work with teachers to support teaching and learning and their support staff colleagues very closely in addition to families to offer specialist support. This support could include social, emotional, educational and/or safeguarding. You will be trained to Level 2 for Child Protection and will be in integral part of the school’s safeguarding team as well as working closely with agencies to monitor and improve pupils’ attendance. The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post. The successful candidate must be appropriately qualified with at least a level 3 qualification in a related subject with substantial related experience, Training and knowledge of safeguarding policies and GCSE (A*- C) in Maths to English or equivalent.
