Bishop Hogarth Catholic Education Trust has overarching accountability and governance of 35 Academies across Darlington, Newton Aycliffe, Bishop Auckland, Stockton, Billingham, Hartlepool and the surrounding areas.
The Directors of Bishop Hogarth Catholic Education Trust wish to appoint a career grade Policy & Governance Officer to work in our busy Central Team.
The role will provide valuable insight and experience of working for a successful and highly regarded Multi-Academy Trust with a national profile. We will provide you with valuable practical experience and project ownership. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will work as part of the Governance & Data Team, supporting us to fulfil a variety of duties including:
- Undertaking research and analysis.
- Assisting in the development and formulation of policy
- Reviewing the effectiveness of policy implementation
- Managing allocated projects within agreed timescales
- Supporting our Directors and Governors
The successful candidate will:
- be highly motivated and flexible with a proactive approach to work.
- have excellent planning and written & verbal communication skills.
- be able to translate complex information into easily understandable formats.
- have a good standard of IT skills.
