Established in 2006, the Education Village Academy Trust (EVAT) is a Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) made up of five academies and schools in the borough of Darlington.
We provide education and support to over 1600 children and young people in the borough and its neighbouring areas. We are an impactful Trust with extensive experience of improving schools and academies to achieve “good” Ofsted ratings.
We are also an ambitious Trust and we have plans to grow. To realise our growth ambitions, we plan to further develop our People Team, and we are looking for an experienced and talented people professional to join our team. This is an amazing opportunity for someone looking to take their next step in their People career.
As People Partner, you will provide effective and evidence-based People solutions, support and advice across the Trust; to enable the business to deliver its people strategy and address its people challenges.
Reporting to the People Director, you will work as part of the Trust’s central services team. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of stakeholders and senior leaders, both internal and external to the organisation.
The role is 37 hours per week, whole time, however we would consider other working patterns.
For enquiries regarding this role or to arrange a confidential discussion, please contact Rachel Inchiliffe, People Director by emailing peopleteam@educationvillage.org.uk
The Education Village Academy Trust (EVAT) is committed to safeguarding the welfare of children and young people. You will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure Check and complete a Disqualification declaration.
The Education Village Academy Trust
Established in 2006, we are a mixed Multi Academy Trust (MAT), bringing together mainstream and special schools and academies serving the borough of Darlington and neighbouring areas.
We are a village, and by building on our individual strengths, sharing our skills, and weaving each other’s ideas and perspectives into our practice, we are able to offer unique and enriched learning experiences.
We are proud to be part of a truly inclusive Trust. We firmly believe that fairness in opportunity and acceptance of individuality enhances understanding of the world, prepares pupils for the future, and creates young adults who value, appreciate and are able to make an active contribution to their communities.
