Excelsior Academy are seeking to appoint a Kitchen Assistant to cover maternity leave. This is a part time, fixed term position to start January 2025 until July 2025, working a total of 20 hours per week, term time only. Monday to Friday 10:30am – 14:30pm
Excelsior Academy is a vibrant and inclusive school where students are nurtured to achieve their full potential. Our catering team plays a vital role in ensuring students receive nutritious and delicious meals that fuel their learning and development.
The Kitchen Assistant will work in a team environment supporting the preparation of meals, serving meals to students and staff in a friendly and efficient manner, maintaining kitchen cleanliness and adhering to food hygiene standards at all times.
Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment is required along with a knowledge of food hygiene regulations. You will need to bring a positive attitude and a willingness to learn accompanied by good communication and teamwork skills.
