Talbot House Children’s Charity are looking to recruit a Kitchen Supervisor / Cook to join our busy school kitchen. This role will include all aspects of food preparation, food service, kitchen and dining area hygiene, and any other duties associated with food service operations. You will supervise the kitchen team who are responsible for food production for approximately 60 pupils and 55 staff on a daily basis, this can include breakfast, break and lunch. You will be expected to comply with the principles of Healthy Schools, COSHH, and Health and Safety in Food. Knowledge of the Good School Food Guide will be an advantage.

Hours of work are: Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 2:30pm, 35 hours per week (includes a 30 minutes unpaid lunch break), working during school term time only.
Salary: £20,729.80 per annum (salary includes term time working hours, plus 5.6 weeks holidays, which are taken during the school holiday periods only).

Talbot House Children’s Charity Limited is situated in the North East of England and comprises a special educational needs school and a residential care home for children.
