The opportunity to apply for an IT apprenticeship is now open to college and sixth form students who are passionate about pursuing a career in IT. If you’re looking for a hands-on learning experience that combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills, this apprenticeship could be the perfect fit for you.
The apprenticeship program offers a competitive hourly training allowance of £6.40, providing a valuable financial incentive to support your learning and development. To be successful in the program, you will need to demonstrate a strong enthusiasm and commitment to undertake training and development activities, ultimately leading to the achievement of an NVQ Level 2/3 qualification.
The contract will be of a fixed term nature and will last for 18 months with no guarantee of employment after the 18 month period. The successful applicant will support the work of all our Academies across the Trust.
As an apprentice, you’ll have the chance to gain valuable experience and work alongside a range of Academy staff, including the Head of IT and an external training provider. You’ll receive mentorship and guidance to ensure a positive and productive traineeship experience, with training taking place both on-site at the Academy and off-site at external locations.
