Class Teacher

Location:       St. Patrick’s Catholic Primary School Dipton

Grade:          MPS / UPS (£28,000 – £43,685 per annum)

Hours:          Full time, Fixed term until 31^st August 2024

We wish to appoint a teacher from September 2023 (or as soon as possible) from that date. A secondment agreement would be considered for this role.

• can motivate all pupils to enjoy their learning;
• has a good knowledge of EYFS;
• has a good knowledge of phonics and early reading;

The successful candidate will have:

• A good knowledge and understanding of the EYFS expectations;
• The ability to design and teach effective lessons and learning activities across the relevant curriculum, age and ability ranges, including personalising learning to meet individual needs;
• An understanding and ability to set realistic and challenging targets and be able to assess and review learners’ progress;
• A good, up to date working knowledge and understanding of teaching, learning and behaviour management strategies particularly in EYFS;
• A very good knowledge of current legislation, policies and guidance on the safeguarding of learners and the promotion of their well-being.
