We are seeking to appoint an Administrative and Finance Assistant who will work alongside the Business Support Officer to ensure the smooth running of the school office. You will be the first port of call for parents/carers, children, colleagues, governors, directors, contractors and professionals providing excellent front of house. We are looking for a colleague with strong attention detail, good customer service and excellent IT skills.
This role will involve:
- Organising, and processing a high volume of data through our internal systems.
- Assisting the Business Support Officer with various administrative tasks.
- Communicating effectively with all stakeholders in a professional and friendly manner.
- Processing financial transactions including raising purchase orders, cash handling.
- Maintaining our school’s information management system to ensure our data is accurate.
This role will be primarily based at Whitehouse Primary School however you will be expected to work accross the Trust to support other schools as and when required. Ongoing training will be provided as part of the role.
We are looking for a colleague who has:
- Experience of working within a similar role.
- Ability to use their own initiative.
- Can work alone or as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Well-developed IT skill including good knowledge and understanding of Microsoft applications.
- Good written and verbal communication.
