Are you passionate about digital learning and innovation in education? Do you have the expertise to drive digital learning initiatives and enhance teaching and learning through technology?
Laidlaw Schools Trust is looking for a team of Trust Lead Practitioners for Digital Learning to drive our digital learning strategy following a 1.8million investment in EX:ED which includes a one to one iPad deployment across 11 academies.
The roles will be focusing on either primary, secondary or across all education stages starting in the new academic year September 2025.
These roles offer the opportunity to make a real impact by enhancing teaching and learning through technology, developing staff capabilities, and supporting digital transformation across our Trust.
What you will do:
Your main focus will be identifying digital learning needs and following through with implementation and support. You will also design and deliver development and training sessions and work closely with subject leaders to integrate digital learning into curriculum planning and also teach lessons where required.
What we are looking for:
Essentially you will be Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with proven experience using digital technology to enhance teaching and learning. You will have a strong understanding of pedagogy and curriculum development, coupled with coaching, mentoring, and leadership skills. If you are a certified Apple Learning Coach or an Apple Distinguished Educator then that would be a bonus but is not essential.
