Trinity Academy Newcastle Multi- Academy Trust is a growing Trust specialising in Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties.
With specialist skills, training or experience in behaviour management and SEN, we are looking for a Pastoral Officer to join our team in Sunderland.
Our successful candidate will ideally have well established de-escalation strategies and recent experience of working in an SEMH environment. The ability to identify potential barriers to learning and to devise strategies to enable pupils to overcome these barriers is essential along with well-developed emotional intelligence skills and knowledge of systems and processes around safeguarding children and young people. You will also be required to deliver trauma informed interventions
A minimum of 5 GCSEs Grade C or above or equivalent(must include English & Maths) is required. The post is permanent, full time, term time only, 37 hours per week, plus 5 training days and the salary is SCP 20- 24 £31,586 – £34,314 pro-rata £27,121 – £29,464.
