St Joseph’s wish to appoint a committed, motivated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our highly effective team.
We are seeking an individual to:
- Cover classes for management time, subject leader time and PPA where necessary.
- Plan and deliver interventions across all key stages as and when required.
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience of working across the key stages
- Have experience of whole class supervision
- Have experience of planning and delivering age-appropriate activities
- Have a good understanding of children’s learning
- Have sound practical, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Have experience of supporting children with SEN
- Be flexible and approachable

Bishop Wilkinson Catholic Education Trust, formerly The Trinity Catholic Multi Academy Trust was set up on 1 February 2012. Cardinal Hume Catholic School, Gateshead was the first school in the trust.
Bishop Wilkinson Catholic Education Trust, is currently a family of 5 secondary schools and 21 primary schools from across Gateshead, Sunderland, Durham and Northumberland, in the west of the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle.
