Location:       St. Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, Prince Consort Road, Gateshead, NE8 1LR

Grade:            Grade F SCP 14-19 (£25,409 – £27,852 per annum) pro rata

Hours:            37 hours per week, Term time Only + 1 week (39 weeks), Permanent

St Joseph’s wish to appoint a committed, motivated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our highly effective team.

We are seeking an individual to:

• Cover classes for management time, subject leader time and PPA where necessary.
• Plan and deliver interventions across all key stages as and when required.

The successful candidate will:

• Have experience of working across the key stages
• Have experience of whole class supervision
• Have experience of planning and delivering age-appropriate activities
• Have a good understanding of children’s learning
• Have sound practical, interpersonal and organisational skills
• Have experience of supporting children with SEN
• Be flexible and approachable
