Kepier is an exciting place to teach. Our staff are friendly, supportive and dedicated. We follow an inspirational curriculum which helps to prepare our young people fully for the challenges of adult life.
You will be a highly motivated and enthusiastic colleague who is keen to make a difference. Your role will be instrumental in delivering the Kepier vision of highly engaging, interactive and challenging learning experiences for our learners in PE. You will be a practitioner who has the vision, energy and drive to build on our existing strengths. You will also have enthusiasm for promoting/driving extracurricular activities and building upon previous successes.
The post holder will be required to teach across the full age and ability range and, therefore, candidates must have good knowledge and understanding of KS3 and KS4 PE. The ability to teach an additional subject is desirable at KS4.
Applications are welcomed from both ECTs and experienced teachers. Kepier is a dynamic Academy, firmly committed to staff development, with a highly regarded and supportive induction programme for ECTs.
The school is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share in this commitment. As part of our due diligence and to comply with our obligations in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education, an online search of publicly available information will be undertaken for all shortlisted candidates. All School posts are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore applicants will be subject to appropriate background checks and vetting including an enhanced DBS check and checks against the children’s barred list.
Application form, job description and person specification are available online at www.kepier.com. Completed Kepier application forms should be returned to recruitment@kepier.com no later than 12 pm noon on Wednesday 6th March 2024. It is hoped that interviews will take place the following week.
We fully appreciate the time and effort required in completing an application and, whatever the outcome of this particular process, we are grateful for your interest in working at Kepier and wish you every success with your future career. Applicants who have not been contacted within 2 weeks of the closing date should assume they have been unsuccessful.
