St John’s Catholic School & Sixth Form College is “A Learning Community guided by Gospel Values.” The Governors of this successful Catholic Academy, a member of the Bishop Hogarth Catholic Education Trust, wish to appoint an enthusiastic and proactive SEND Coordinator. This is a non-teaching role.
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and dedicated professional who has a passion for working with children and their families to ensure students’ SEND needs are addressed and they are able to flourish within our supportive learning environment. The successful candidate will have high expectations of children’s achievements and a proven record of excellent classroom practice.
Knowledge and understanding of the issues and barriers to learning that some students may face is essential. The successful candidate will work with our Senior Leadership and Welfare teams. In this role the successful candidate will actively nurture, support and mentor students to become the best versions of themselves.

- be part of our learning community and inspire our enthusiastic students, making a difference to their lives
- join a school with supportive and dedicated staff, who are keen to build on our high standards
- share talents with excellent collaboration between the existing schools within our large Multi Academy Trust
- engage in high quality professional development to further your career
