Required from September 2023 – a Science Technician to join our Science department.
Band 3, SCP 5 to 6,37 hours pw term time only plus 10 days
Actual Salary (£18,208 – £19,441 subject to pay award)
We have a vacancy for an organised,hard working and flexible team player to join our successful Science department. Our technicians play a key role in the smooth day to day running of the department and you will join a team of four including one senior technician.
Main responsibilities include:
- Assisting teachers in the Science department when preparing for practical lessons
- Preparing and setting out equipment and materials for lessons
- Promote the awareness of health and safety in the laboratory and show commitment to the safeguarding of our students
- Maintenance of the stocks of science chemicals and equipment
