Applications are welcomed from pupils currently studying at College or Sixth Form, who have an interest in a Finance Apprenticeship post.
As part of a formal apprenticeship programme an hourly training allowance of £5.28 will be paid. The applicant must be enthusiastic and committed to undertake training and development activities to complete the apprenticeship programme successfully. A successful outcome to the apprenticeship programme will include an NVQ Level 2/3 qualification.
The contract will be of a fixed term nature and will last for 18 months with no guarantee of employment after the 18-month period. The successful applicant will support the work of all our Academies across the Trust.
Apprentices will have the opportunity to gain appropriate experience and will work with a range of Academy staff. Apprentices will be mentored by the Finance Business Partners and by an external training provider in order to achieve a constructive and positive traineeship experience. Training will take place both in the central office and off site, therefore applicants should be prepared to travel to the location of the appropriate external provider.
The successful candidate will join a successful MAT where all Academies support each other to the benefit of our pupils and their families. Our Academies also enjoy strong support from an experienced LST central team, based in Newcastle upon Tyne.
